I don't know if anyone has mentioned it, since I just joined the list
yesterday, but I would definitely say hurricane Katrina. My mother's oil
company lost a significant amount of their business records (not all
were electronic--they've been in business since the 20s), and I can only
assume other companies suffered the same fate.
