well, I'm actually a document manager not a records manager, so as far as
I'm concerned, if the business needs something for business purposes, I'll
manage it for and with them. Once the business doesn't need it, then I'll
manage it as long as the law requires me to.

If we are only managing stuff that's 'records' then we are at best
warehouse managers, and have little future as a profession. I'm here to
help people manage all their documents (some of which may be records).

Source code fits in here somewhere as just another type of document.
