Hi Deb,

Start by connecting with your local ARMA chapter. Many of them have lending
libraries that include some/many/most of the books in the bibliography. And
even the ones that don't include a lot of members that may have those books
in their personal - or work - libraries and may be able to assist.

You may also want to talk to CRM liaisons/mentors/whatever they are called
these days - these again are available through your local chapter or maybe
by contacting the ICRM directly. They may have books; they can probably
also provide insight as to which books are of greater or lesser value if
you had to pick one or two to focus on.

There are a number of ways to acquire used books. Amazon is my go-to
resource but depending on where you are there may be used bookstores,
especially near colleges, where you might find at least the typical
business & management books for relatively low cost.

Finally, don't limit yourself to books. Much of the basic information
covered by the exam, and listed in the exam outline and the bibliography,
can also be found in a variety of online sources such as Khan Academy,
Coursera, Degreed, TED Talks, and the like. It will cost you time, but many
of those resources are every bit as good as the ones on the bibliography
provided you can sort the wheat from the chaff.

Good luck,

Jesse Wilkins, CIP, CRM, IGP
