Records Specialist
Spire is seeking a Records Specialist to work in the St. Louis operation.  This position will design and implement electronic Records and Information Management (RIM) systems for the Company and all affiliated companies.  Develops and provides training to Records Coordinators and raises Company's awareness of RIM program.  Assesses business processes and develops migration strategies to ensure the integrity of records and related metadata over the required lifetime of the records as information systems are upgraded or replaced.  Develops and implements RIM procedures, and ensures employee compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities
*     Develop RIM system specifications by utilizing best practices, assessing business needs, and clearly documenting requirements
*     Conduct research to provide input into the design of the RIM systems
*     Assist in the design of information management systems through translation of records processes into technical requirements
*     Develop and train employees in the use of technology to accomplish tasks in support of RIM program objectives
*     Draft RIM policies and procedures by reviewing and analyzing RIM systems and requirements in line with RIM best practices
*     Develop and maintain professional, industry, and organizational knowledge to serve as a subject matter expert
*     Develop records classification scheme and associated file plan(s) with businesses
*     Process the integration of records involved with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations
*     Oversee the entry of offsite Records inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with retention/disposition guidelines
*     Plan and manage imaging projects for businesses across the Company. This includes understanding business needs, analyzing the value of the projects, managing project documentation and timelines, and ensuring the projects are successfully completed
