Good morning fellow listservs,

I have a question about the retetnion period for medical information 
requests. My organization receives medical information requests from our 
employees, their spouses, survivors, etc. Sometimes these requests come 
in the form of a letter or HIPAA authorization form.

Is there a HIPAA regulation which dictates the retetnion period for these 
requests. If there is a regulation, can someone please let me know.
