AIIM First Canadian Chapter is excited to get the fall season of breakfast meetings into full swing with Doculabs Inc as our first speakers, in a new venue in the Toronto downtown core.

Our Speakers are:

Jim Polka, Principal Consultant, Doculabs Inc.

Jim is a business strategy professional with more than 9 years of experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, and business process analysis. He works with clients to help them improve their management of information, developing strategies to address the organization and lifecycle management of enterprise content and helping clients understand the change management requirements as well as the costs and benefits of information management initiatives. Among Jim’s areas of expertise are technology selection, business case development, strategic planning, and analysis, with particular knowledge of ECM technologies and requirements. He also has significant experience with IT operations, from requirements documentation and project management to vendor management, roadmap development, user acceptance testing, and application development and quality. Before joining Doculabs, Jim directed product technology strategy for Kaplan University, a division of Kaplan, Inc., a provider of higher education and professional training. Prior to Kaplan, he served as Quality Assurance Lead for the Business Solutions Group at Willis Group, a global risk advisory firm. Rick Tucker, Vice President, Doculabs, Inc.

Rick Tucker has 17 years of experience in information management technologies, focusing on enterprise content management (ECM) technologies and their applications to business processes. As a member of the senior management team at Doculabs, he is responsible for setting corporate direction and driving growth. As Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Rick is closely involved in working with Doculabs clients to help them manage information. He assists Doculabs consultants in developing new products and services, including Doculabs’ services in information governance, and works with sales and marketing staff to promote Doculabs’ products and services. Rick is principally responsible for Doculabs’ branding and messaging, working with Doculabs’ graphics and editorial staff to ensure the currency and consistency of the Doculabs brand across the firm’s consulting products and services. He also directs the development of white papers and oversees Doculabs’ participation in industry events, as well as developing and maintaining Doculabs’ relationships with partners and trade associations.
