Thanks, Fred.... As for the certification being immediately invalidated,
that will likely depend upon the ability of technology to adapt by bringing
today's "digital or digitized" signature forward to the new (not yet
invented) technologies.....

True, but IF you can trust that the document was legitimately signed to
begin with and then immediately microfilmed, you would be reasonably certain
that it will remain so for the life of the document.

Once you convert a digitally-signed document to another platform, the
certification provided is immediately invalidated.
