The forms are pretty straight forward and easy to follow when conducting an inventory. In addition to the forms I have found that open ended questions in an interview format will elicit more information and uncover areas that may be problematic. The two together will give a better overall picture and gives you the opportunity to train the employees about the records program and their responsibilities. It also engages them and they will buy into the program more than just filling out a form.

There are several such forms "out there." One source would form the
forms manual produced and ARMA and SAA and available through the ARMA
bookstore.
