I was told by a bookseller that they have a scheme for immersing smoky books
in unscented clay cat litter. I don't know the details, but I would assume
that the book is not directly exposed to the clay.

Subject: Ozone treatment and smoke

Happy New Year to all! Hope this year will be a great one for you all.
Has anyone heard of using ozone to treat smoke odor on records. The records
were not damaged by fire or water but were contained in a fire proof cabinet
and smelled like smoke. My uncle used instant coffee to eliminate mustiness
but I'm not sure it would work here. Many thanks!
