Robin - many thanks for thinking of Oz.

I can't really reply on behalf of anyone up there because Sydney is a long
long way from far north Queensland, but it sounds pretty grim at least in
property damage, it's reported as the worst cyclone since Tracey which
clobbered Darwin in the mid 70's. So far no reported loss of life, but
there are lots of buildings damaged badly, and many farmers have had crops
wiped out.

I haven't yet heard any reports of RM issues, but it's a few days too soon
for that sort of low priority stuff to filter through.

And to add a little local linguistic humour, I heard a report on the radio
this morning that "there were many elderly Queenslanders sagging badly and
probably beyond saving". Bit of a worry until you realise in that context
that a 'Queenslander' is a specific type of house, usually fairly old and
/ or cheaply constructed, built up on stilts.

Thanks again

Glenn

These views are mine alone. They may or may not be those of any
previous or present employers or clients. I don't know. If I'd asked
and they'd agreed, I would have signed it "Harry Peck & Co and
Glenn". Or whatever. But I haven't, so I didn't.
