CRM means certified records manager; the last word in the acronym being
manager; same with records management or records & information
management. CRMs must have some knowledge about management, as well as
records & information to be effective. That is why Part I Management
Principles ... is included.
If you do not want to be a CRM, or do not qualify to sit for the
examination, please do not run the certification credential down as
irrelevant.
