Please see the announcement below regarding the Emmett Leahy Award for
Outstanding Contributions to Information and Records Management.

Many thanks.

Charles Dollar

Eugenia Brumm, a member of the Emmett Leahy Award Committee, will
announce the recipient of the 36th Emmett Leahy Award for Outstanding
Contributions to the Information and Records Management Profession at
the Annual Business Meeting of the Institute of Certified Records
Managers on Sunday, October 22, between 5:30 and 7:00 PM at the Marriott
Riverwalk Hotel in San Antonio, Texas.

The Emmett Leahy Award is the highest level of recognition given to an
individual who works in the field of information and records management.
It honors Emmett Leahy, an icon in the development of the lifecycle
approach to managing records and information. Leahy chaired the Hoover
Commission Records Management Records Management Task Force in the late
1940's. Its recommendations resulted in the establishment of a federal
government-wide records management program. Leahy's records and
information management concepts have been widely applied in government,
business, and industry throughout the world.

The Leahy Award Committee, which is supported by Iron Mountain
Incorporated, invites records managers and information management
professionals to attend this celebration of Emmett Leahy's innovation,
dedication, and excellence in records and information management and the
recognition of the 2006 recipient of the Emmett Leahy Award for
outstanding contributions to the information and records management
profession.

The Leahy Award Committee also is pleased to announce the establishment
of an Emmett Leahy Award Web site that provides information about Emmett
Leahy, the history of the Leahy Award, previous Leahy Award recipients,
and the nomination and selection process. The URL for the Emmett Leahy
Award Web site is http://www.leahyaward.com.

The Leahy Award Committee invites nominations for the 2007 Leahy Award
for outstanding contributions to the information and records management
profession. For more information contact Charles Dollar at
