Thanks for the info...I've gotta figure the logistics for the

I assume that you mean Wrigley Field. Well, according to the Cubs
schedule, they are in town on the Saturday and Sunday prior to MER (May
19 and 20). Unfortunately, they are playing the White Sox, so you better
start looking for a scalper -- the games are sold out. The White Sox
play Oakland Monday through Wednesday at 7:11pm (new sponsor for the
start of the game) at The Cell (US Cellular Field). Arguably, The Cell
has much better food than Wrigley, although the ambiance isn't quite the
same. Still, a nice ballpark. You can also get to The Cell via the CTA
Red Line, grabbing a southbound train at Chicago Ave. and State Street
(the Red Line also serves Wrigley heading northbound).

And as long as I am providing local information, for those of you who
might be driving to Chicago between now and the end of Construction
Season (which just started and lasts until it snows), please note that
the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-90/94) is under reconstruction from 95th
Street all the way into Downtown. It is very bad if you are coming into
the city from the south. Access from the airports into the city is
affected during rush hours because all the expressways get backed up by
the Dan Ryan. Public transportation is encouraged.
