If you are already familiar with and use SharePoint, you might want to
check out the Microsoft Records Management Team Blog which talks about
the RIM capabilities MS is building into SharePoint 2007.

My main core of experience is with hard copy records management, and
discovery, so developing a system like this is a new area for me.  I do
have experience with MS Share point.
