The reason for this listserv is to help all who need help, initials or not.

Yes, there are differing opinions on just about everything.... but the
basics are still the basics.  And they don't change.

The basics say that you need to find out what you are dealing with before
you shoot your mouth off.  This means do an inventory of the situation
first.  Then, if there is a problem, you see what solutions best suit the
situation.  It is the same with hard copy and electronic.  The basics don't
change...... thirty years ago or now.  Just ask Mr. Wilson if he would do an
imaging project without finding out what needs to be imaged, or if the
network is robust enough to handle all the images that will now be floating
around the network.

No... no one is saying you need alphabet soup behind your name to be good at
what you do.  Just that you need to pay attention to detail... and ask
questions.
