I do not agree with the assertion that the documents were "accidently
disclosed" by the court.  From what I understand from other articles, the
court was simply posting what it received from the regulators at the FTC.  I
believe the root of the problem is that attorneys for the FTC, much like
those from the military who foibled with release of the Italian papers,
do not understand technology.  Redacting electronic documents with software
annotations is about as secure as putting a no trespassing sign on a
dumpster in an alley.  It's only purpose is to identify it as something very
interesting.
