About 2 two years ago InfoCurrent conducted an anecdotal survey of
Washington, DC firms with 60 or more attorneys. The average was about
23:1. Some of the variables included the types of law practiced by the
firm, the level of records involvement of the secretaries and the
frequency of using supplemental staff.
