Thank you all for your responses! 

I have done some research into the limitation of action laws governing our 
company in the states in which we operate and as a couple mentioned they 
vary greatly and not only within each state but for each type of action. I 
guess the idea that we need to speak with our legal folks and try to hash 
out a period they are comfortable with is the route we will most likely 
take.  I was just wondering if there was some Federal limitation that I 
just didn't know about which people were using as a guideline.
