  ARMA Gaithersburg, MD Chapter presents its 11th Annual Spring RIM/KM Seminar, "Implementing an Electronic Records Program: The Issues, Challenges and Strategies" in Rockville, MD at the beautiful University of Maryland Shady Grove Campus Auditorium.
   
  This all-day seminar features the great speaker Jesse Wilkins (*see bio below)!
   
  Topics that Jesse will cover include the following:
   
  Implementing an E-Records Program; Managing E-Records without an ERMS; RM and IT: Collaboration for Success; Accessing Your E-Records in 5, 50, 500 Years; Effective E-mail Management; and Records Management 2.0: Managing Records in the Cloud.

  * Jesse Wilkins Bio:
   
  Jesse has worked in the document industry for twelve years and is a Principal Consultant with Access Sciences. His areas of expertise include electronic records management, email management, document imaging, and collaborative tools. He has worked with hundreds of clients to design, implement, and optimize information management systems and processes. 
   
  Jesse is a frequent industry speaker and is recognized for his ability to communicate technical concepts clearly. He has spoken at AIIM 2003-2007, ARMA 2003-2007, the ARMA E-Discovery Conference, and dozens of AIIM and ARMA chapter meetings and has been selected to speak at AIIM 2008, ABA Techshow 2008, and ARMA 2008. 
   
  Jesse is active in records and information management industry associations, serving on the ARMA International Board of Directors, and as Chair of the ARMA Communications Advisory Committee. He served as a Director of AIIM International from 2004 to 2005 and previously served as Chair of the AIIM Professional Advisory Council, Chair of the AIIM Master Accreditation Committee, and Chair of the ARMA Technology Advisory Committee. He has served on the conference program teams for ARMA 2003, ARMA 2004, AIIM 2005, and ARMA 2006 and on the CompTIA CDIA+ Post-Cornerstone Committee. He has served on the AIIM Rocky Mountain Chapter executive committee since 2002 including two years as President. 
   
  Jesse has participated in many ARMA and AIIM standards efforts and has served on the ARMA Professional Competencies Task Force, the ARMA Email Management Task Force, the AIIM Document Management Technology Committee, and the AIIM Terminology Committee. He served as the Chair of the ARMA Glossary Task Force, culminating in the April 2007 publication of the ARMA Records and Information Management Glossary, 3rd Edition. 
   
  Jesse has developed and delivered technical training for the CompTIA CDIA+ and TAWPI ICP programs to more than 400 students since 2002.  Jesse is an accredited instructor for the AIIM Electronic Records Management and AIIM Enterprise Content Management Master Classes. He is currently engaged to develop the AIIM Email Management Master Class. 
   
  Jesse has received the AIIM MIT, AIIM LIT/EDIM, AIIM LIT/ECM, AIIM LIT/ERM, AIIM Email Master, AIIM ERM Master, AIIM ECM Master, AIIM BPM Specialist, Xplor EDP, CompTIA CDIA+, and TAWPI ICP designations. In 2006 he received the AIIM Education Award.  Jesse is based in Denver, Colorado and is a professional member in good standing of AIIM, ARMA, CompTIA, FRMA, NAGARA, TAWPI, Xplor, the American Society for Training & Development, and the National Speakers Association.
