Hi,
Quick question. I am looking to find out if there is best practices
for setting up an Enterprise RIM site. It came up during an interview
question. On the search committee was an individual with a great deal
of web development/information architecture (IA) experience.
This individual on the search wanted me to articulate an IA for an
enterprise RIM site: He was interested in how pages of the site
connect (and don?t connect) to each other; labels for each of the
sections and pages of the site; and a key that helps to explain the
connections between sections and pages of the site. It was something
of an impossible question to answer since I am not familiar with
workflows and so on.
I did a search of the listserv archives and could not find the answer
I was looking for. And I did look at various public agencies websites
(educational and governemnt). The sites were informative but the
various IA decisions that went into them are not made explicit just by
viewing them. And I also searched the Information Management Journal.
I am sure I used the wrong keyword.
Thanks,
David D. Doughan
