allow for flexibility>
It depends on the matter being covered. For RIM, I write from the big
picture perspective (somewhat general) and covered specifics with
separate procedures developed under the umbrella of the SOP. This
allows us to more easily revise the details (procedures) when necessary
rather than go through the more rigorous and lengthy approval process
for a SOP.
