Good day all:
I have been asked to do some "real world" inquiries concerning email
archiving solutions. At NYL we are currently using AXS-One for SEC 17a-4
email capture, retention, retrieval (eDiscovery & surveillance) and for
overall RIM.
Without going into too much detail (I am willing to share off list if
anyone is interested), they way our process works is that email is
captured, auto-classified, and sent to compliant storage BEFORE it even
arrives in a user's in-box (we are a mix of Lotus Notes, Outlook, and POP
mail).
Due to some recent "issues" (in my opinion with the people and the
process, not the technology itself) I have been asked to look into other
alternatives to AXS-One.
What solutions are others using? While I am specifically interested those
of you also subject to 17a-4, if any one has a process that really works
for them I'd be interested in hearing from you as well.
If you'd rather not share with the entire list, please feel free to email
me directly.
Thanks in advance,
