Good morning,
We (I) make changes to the retention schedules as they come up but I also audit them annually. If a department has a change that will effect the storage of a record - the schedule needs to be updated right away so that it will reflect the change in our records software. The revised schedule is then routed for approval signatures (all away up to our Officer group). (We employ approx 1200).
