It appears that this discussion is veering into the realm of "political
debate"..... I'd suggest that those of us with strong political opinions

Looks like Lenin's authoritarian Soviet Union didn't collapse after all,
it got co-opted by our government. Next step: penal colonies in far

places like Cuba and former Soviet bloc countries. Oops, that's already
happened. Limit the right to assemble; that's already happening in a
limited way for now. Cronyism is in force. Free press is less free.
Unprecedented resources and dollar amounts dedicated to military at a
rate
that will soon result in rationing of home goods. We're almost our old
nemesis.
