" I find it a bit comical if the vendor is one who decides to run their business based on a model where boxes are stacked 4 high and 4 deep,
requiring them to handle more boxes to service a client that if a box breaks in the process the client should be responsible for that damage. And not
only for the cost of replacing their damaged boxes, but for the labor to do so and the relabeling, both of which have the potential of resulting in
either the contents being out of order, improperly exposed to individuals who don't need to see them, or being mislabeled in the process."

Now I know this is in direct reference to my participation in that earlier discussion, so let me refresh your memory of what I wrote with regards to reboxing:

"If their box then breaks, and it is one of the cheap ones, I repackage, and charge. If a good box breaks, it will depend on how many times it was handled (yes, we keep track of that). If more than 5 times, it gets charged, less it does not. Don’t forget, that 5 times applies only if the box was called for to be handled by the client, not if it was handled incidentally by us when another client may be involved, such as if the box is above the other clients. What that means, a box could be handled many times, and there are times we replace and don't charge."

I think it is clear that it has nothing to do with how the boxes are stacked, and the charge is ONLY if their box has been called up 5 times or more. To reiterate in different words what I wrote above, their box may have been handled 20 times, but we charge only if THAT particular box was ordered up. Again, if it is an appropriate box, and it breaks before that, the client does not get charged. And, by the way, we do not charge for relabelling or labor to repackage. We only charge for the box, and I thought that was clear from my earlier posting.

I hope that clarifies.
