Hello List,
I was wondering if anyone out there would be willing to share info on how they are setting up their power plant file structures. I am setting out on a task to establish a file structure that is not too cumbersome and shifts from numeric to alpha that will aid in uniformity across the board for all facilities. I was wondering if most of you all doing this go by systems, or something more broad. My goal is to find something that will work for any type of plant and will not be larger than 30 class Ids excluding general, environmental, safety and ops records (these are to be factored in a little differently.) I would appreciate any feedback or assistance in this area. I have a few ideas on how to do this but would love to hear any lessons learned before I set out.

Much thanks,
 Amy
