I have not weighed in on this for a number of reasons, most immediately
because I am on a project deadline and putting together training schedules
for 2009. However, I think at least one of the issues to consider is that
there are less than 1,000 CRMs on the planet, while there are probably
millions of holders of masters degrees. In other words, everyone knows what
a masters degree purports to demonstrate, while very few comparatively
understand what the CRM is. And even the analogy of accounting:CPA::records
management:CRM doesn't hold up under scrutiny.

I will try to formulate a much longer response next week once I find some
slack time.
