LEGAL CONFLICTS DATABASE MANAGER

 

A prominent law firm known for their progressive management and the
work/life balance they offer employees is actively seeking a Database
Manager to supervise new business systems databases and staff. As the
Database Manager you will enjoy a challenging mix of database and
supervisory duties. The Manager ensures accurate flow of data into the
firm's conflicts and accounting databases. This includes maintaining all
databases and filing systems, creating data reports, recommending and
implementing software upgrades, and providing ongoing database training
to department staff. The Database Manager also delegates work to staff,
participates in the staff hiring process, and drafts performance
evaluations. Qualified candidates will have a 4-year college degree with
at least 5 years of related law firm experience, including at least 2
years of supervisory experience. 1-2 years of database experience is
required, and conflicts database experience is preferred. Proficiency
with LegalKey, Elite, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat software is important.
Candidates must have solid knowledge of the conflicts process and should
have the interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of staff. In
