Program Description: Life is unpredictable and STUFF happens! But, it is predictable that your organization WILL get sued! Statistics are in your favor. You need insurance, now, to improve your position when in the courtroom. A good records management program along with technology and process can be your insurance against a devastating law suit.  Protect your organization like you would yourself! 
 
The speaker will discuss your records management program, including: how you pay for it; how it pays you back; what technical measures you need to employ; the role of "check-ups" or audits; breaking habits that cost you money and leave your vulnerable; and tips from judges and experts for ensuring your best legal posture and save you money. Don't miss this engaging, irreverent discussion on what to do before "stuff" happens. 
  
Speaker:  Christopher J. Olsen, CRM. An internationally known authority and lecturer, Mr. Olsen is a principal systems engineer at Lockheed Martin and is currently a leader on Lockheed Martin's team for the FBI's SENTINEL program--the largest information management initiative in the Bureau's history.  Previously, he served as chief, records and classification group for the Central Intelligence Agency.  As a senior executive reporting to the CIA's CIO, Olsen oversaw the Agency's records management program and the career development of one of the largest cadres of professional information management officers in the Federal government.  Additionally, he provided information management support to the National Security Council, the National Reconnaissance Office, the U.S. Navy and the Office of the Director, National Intelligence, and served as a member of the Federal Records Panel.   
  
 Menu: Lazy Susan buffet style with Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Spring Rolls, Shrimp Toast, Sesame Jumbo Shrimp, Chicken Basil, String Bean Szechuan, Asparagus Beef, Vegetable Delight, Steam/Fried Rice, Toffee Pineapple Dessert, Tea, Coffee. Cash bar will be available.

Directions: Take Rockville Pike ( Wisconsin Avenue extension from DC) to Nicholson Lane just above the White Flint Mall.  Turn East onto Nicholson Lane and go down the hill and then up the hill about a third of a mile.  The Far East is just past Nebel Street on the left at the top of the hill.  

Metro Directions:  The Far East is about a third of a mile southeast from the White Flint Metro stop.  Walk east on Marinelli Road , then right onto Nebel Street , and then left onto Nicholson Lane and go to the top of the hill.  The restaurant will be on the left.
