If you work for a university with a law school that has various clinics
in which the law students can participate (for example, a Family Law
clinic or a Criminal Appeals clinic), are the case files and records
created as a result of the work done in the clinic(s) accounted for on
your university's records retention schedule? If not, why not? If yes,
how did you decide on retention periods? State laws? Federal laws?
Best practices?

I've been looking at other university records retention schedules to get
an idea of whether or not these types of records are typically included
but haven't found much. Is this because these records aren't typically
considered official university records and are instead considered
by-products of the students' coursework? Or am I just not delving deep
enough in my searches?
