"Sarbanes-Oxley regulations require that all of an enterprise's electronic records be retained for five years"

Well, I went and read the article, and was so appalled that I sent an email to the editor, Mr. Howard. I was pleasantly surprised to get a quick return message that described his being "mortified" by getting such negative feedback. He attempted to make some adjustments to the post, which I again pointed out were still insufficient and so provided further comments. I just got a call from him as well (although I sent it to VM since I didn't recognize the number) thanking me for the feedback. It'll be interesting to see if the post changes in any substantive way in the near future ...

Anyway, the reason I post this is merely as encouragement to others who have not ever taken the leap and written to an editor or author regarding something they published. If you feel strongly about something (good or bad), I find that 9 times out of 10 the editor/author is appreciative of the feedback (if done professionally).

Have a great Thursday!
Julie
