The City Clerk's Department is seeking an energetic individual with
technical, functional and customer service expertise in the field of
records management. This position supports the Records Section of the
City Clerk's Department by performing a wide variety of records
management and customer service functions, including responding to
information requests and subpoenas, maintaining the integrity and
security of vital records, assisting the public with access to
information, operating complex document imaging systems, and performing
various records management functions. Work requires the ability to
interpret policies, procedures and guidelines and the exercise of some
judgment in selecting appropriate guidelines to follow. The position
involves significant interaction with other City staff,
consultant/contractor personnel, the general public and other public
agencies. Requires some education in records management or business
administration and two years of records management experience. The
ability to thrive in a fast paced, professional and collaborative
