Hi Rikki,
Typically, records which are identified as part of a legal hold are still considered as a part of their original records series. Any records which are created as part of the legal hold could be managed in accordance with their respective records series.

Subject: Legal Hold Orders
Hi, Group.
I am interested in how you are handling legal hold orders? Sometimes an
order goes out, and no litigation comes of it. Are you creating a legal
hold records category in your retention schedule or are do you put them
in some other bucket? Thanks.
