I like to refer to RIM as a professional discipline.  It is a body of 
principles and techniques.

I'm comfortable with a RIM "program" within an organization.  To me that 
connotes an ongoing, evolving application of the discipline.

I'm uncomfortable with "process" because of the narrow definition given 
it by the content management community.  Business processes are 
here-today-gone-tomorrow.  Also, I think the word doesn't do justice to 
the wide scope of RIM.  Can "process" be applied to vital records, 
governance, and other RIM pillars?

That's my two cents...I'll be watching for postings from the ListServ 
royalty and commoners :-)
