Program: The Office of Thrift Supervision of the Department of the Treasury is the federal bank regulator and supervisor of savings associations and holding companies with four regional offices. To train employees deployed nation-wide, the OTS Records Management Unit developed an electronic training module for employee records management training and awareness. Access to on-line instruction will enable national and regional staff to be trained wherever they are working and eliminate the need to travel to physical offices. Ms. Settles will share the process used to create this training and some of the challenges OTS faced along the way.

Speaker: Rosalye Settles has been a program analyst in the OTS Records Management Unit since July 2008. Prior to working for OTS, she worked in the Department of the Treasury's Office of the Chief Information Office performing records management oversight and policy formulation for the Department of Treasury's ten bureaus and offices. Ms. Settles has also worked at the Architect of the Capitol and the National Archives at College Park. 

Menu: Garden Salad; Entree Choice (served with rice and vegetables)– Atlantic Grilled Salmon, Grilled Pork Chops, Chicken Cutlets Parmigiana, Veggie Lasagna, Eggplant Parmigiana; Dessert Choice - Tiramisu, Crème Brulee; Tea, Coffee, Soda included. Cash bar will be available.

Cost: Online payment with credit card, available until reservation closing time, $35 @ Online Reservations; payment at the door is cash or check only: $30 for members, $35 non-members, $15 students (Student ID required).

Directions: From the Beltway, take the Georgia Avenue exit south; turn left onto Colesville Rd. From DC and Bethesda (East West Highway), at the Silver Spring Metro Station turn north onto Colesville Rd and travel about 4 blocks to the top of the hill. Restaurant is on the left just across the street from the AFI Silver Theatre. Parking is available in the rear. 
Metro Directions: Take the Red Line to the Silver Spring Metro. Walk three and half blocks north on Colesville Road to the top of the hill and the restaurant is on the left just across the street from the AFI Silver Theatre.
