raises a good point which leads me  to mention that if you are going to scan
all these boxes you will need to identify the appropriate
properties/attributes for each doc type that is scanned. Considering that
you have 15,000 boxes you may have several hundred doc types. so who will be
doing the data input?

and let us not forget the all important document preparation (scanners hate
staples, etc)
