Sounds like your policy is designed to relieve stress on your email servers
and storage. what email client do you use Notes or Outlook. if the latter
your sales reps can save individual emails as .msg files As long as they are
logged into Exchange they can open one of those .msg files and reply to it
from the folder the file is in.

I do find it interesting that your company is involved in compliance
