yes we are definitely in the information age, but I seriously doubt that we
will see the disappearance of snail mail. just look at the greeting card
industry. There are online services like Jacquie lawson etc, but I still
like to send and receive a card or letter. The tactile factor as well as the
human touch of a short note and signature means more to me than receiving
electrons.

In fact on my business travels I make a point of sending postcards to family
and friends from wherever I am. takes a little more time but haven't had any
complaints. an electronic postcard just isn't the same
