The U.S. Government Accountability Office is looking for an Information
Assets Program Manager. The IA Manager and the KS Information Services
Director are responsible for GAO’s knowledge transfer and together
provide a broad, comprehensive information management strategy for GAO.
IA partners with GAO’s information technology group (ISTS) on issues
and strategies relating to the development, maintenance, and migration
of the agency’s information systems. The IA Director oversees and
directs the agency’s privacy, forms, and orders programs. The IA
Director is responsible for accurately identifying, assessing,
scheduling, protecting, and ensuring the appropriate retention and
disposition of all of the agency’s information assets. The IA Director
oversees federal Records Management/Information Management (RM/IM) staff
and interns, and directs the duties of professional records/information
