In addition companies that provide Medicaid services must also deal
with the patchwork of Medicaid specific retention rules which are
different from state to state. In quite a few cases these do not
correspond to the state's retention requirements for medical records.
Needless to say it becomes a challenge for businesses that have
operations throughout the country. But it also makes my job
interesting to say the least.
By the way I would love to network with anyone on the listserve who
works for a home health care company or similar type organization.
