The former name is either added to the search system as an AKA, a
synonym, or as an additional party name, depending on the application
you are using to perform the search.

Although this situation does not apply to us, I have found this thread
very interesting. Just wondering though, how does this search
procedure
work if the client has undergone a legal name change?
