Thought I'd get this one in before someone screams "STOP WITH THE
RECIPES"!!!
This is a favorite of my grandchildren and any party where I'm supposed
to bring appetizers - let's call them Fruit/Cheese Sticks. They're so
easy to make it hurts to call it a recipe!
I cut up an apple or two into 8-10 slices, then cut each slice into 3-4
pieces and dip them in lemon juice (keeps them from turning brown). Also
cut up cheese (cheddar, pepper jack, whatever) into 1/2" square pieces
(or stack 3-4 slices together and cut them into 1/2" pieces). Take
toothpicks and create little hors d'oeuvres with an apple piece, cheese,
then add a grape or other small piece of fruit. I've also taken lunch
meat and added it to a piece of apple, followed by a pickle piece.
