If your company uses spam blocking technology (and they probably do), it will look at incoming messages and classify them into one of three buckets: definitely spam (red light), suspected spam (yellow light) or not spam (green light).  All "red light" messages will be discarded without delivering to the inbox.  "Yellow light" messages will be delivered to a special folder called, "spam" or "suspected spam," etc.  Obviously any "green light" message will be delivered to the inbox unimpeded.

This would explain why some people are getting the message, some are getting it in their "spam" folder and some aren't getting it at all.  In my case, I didn't receive the message at all, so I'm guessing it was classified as a "red light" spam message by my mail system.
