This includes critical records management projects, from retention schedule refresh to researching and setting policy on wikis, blogs, and instant messaging. You as a records manager have the expertise needed to execute these records management projects – and the discipline of project management can help you achieve high-quality results, on time and under budget - every time. This interactive discussion is formed around a case study: assess records policies and procedures in preparation for implementing an ERM/ECM solution.
The presentation will help you:
– Identify and develop key project management tools
– Define the concept of Earned Value Management
– Discuss unique characteristics of records management projects.
Speaker: Jeff Pierantozzi, CRM, PMP, has managed or participated in the implementation of over 20 process and technology solutions to information management challenges, ranging in scope from a state-wide implementation of a maintenance management system to the delivery of a public access system for viewing publicly available documents over the web. His areas of expertise include project management, electronic records and document management, process and systems design, imaging, requirements gathering, systems analysis and design, and data conversion
