I completed it in 2008. It is a good focus program which also explains
how FOIA and the Privacy Act is associated with records management.
Also, there are test that you have to pass in order to get the full
certification from NARA. Six courses total and 5 have a test.

Subject: NARA's Certification of Federal Records Management Training
Hello Everyone,
I would like feedback if anyone has been certified through NARA's
Certification of Federal Records Management Training as I am planning on
attending this training sometime in the early part of next year. Any
thoughts, comments, etc. are welcome. I have been involved in Records
Management for over 20 years (active duty with the Air Force) but am now
involved with it in the Dept. of Veteran Affairs. The basic concepts
are the same but with any government agency, each one has their own
approach and mindset. Once certified, I will travel to our other
offices across the nation to assist with setting up their Records
Management program. Thank you for any information that might be
helpful.
