Hello all.....
This group is very talented in many other areas beside RIM. As a result,
I wonder if some of you can help me.
I am looking at putting together some training video's for our RIM
program. We want to go beyond simple PowerPoint presentations and perhaps
make it interactive with a short quiz at the end to test user knowledge
and understanding.
My background is photography with a basic understanding of video work.
Some of the video's will be interviews....this is not the problem. The
problem is in capturing video screen shots and screen movement. I would
assume I would need a firewire to do this, but one thought is with a video
camera shooting directly from a high res, flat screen monitor. Is there a
way to capture screen images through a simple video camera? I know many
of the professional video camera's allow you to capture directly, but do
any of the basic video camera's ($1000 & under)? I am considering
purchasing a video camera but need to do some research prior to this.
As well, do any of you have any experience with editing software? What
would you recommend?
Any thoughts would be helpful. We have a HR dept., marketing group and IT
group but neither have been helpful.
Thanks,
John Annunziello, CRM, ermm
