Does anyone have any advice on how to go about identifying and obtaining
records that were acquired from a multi state law firm that is in
dissolution and are now under the control of a bankruptcy trustee. To make
matters more interesting, the acquiring law firm needs to keep the
transferred clients happy to try and keep their business and the record
storage vendors are getting antsy about collecting their fees and are
contacting the clients directly with dunning notices. Are there issues
specific to law firms that I need to be aware of?

Sounds like a case study, but is a real scenario.

Thanks,

Fred
