Kim--
We just upgraded to CARM from FileSurf in November. I started researching
the retention module to see how it works and integrates with the files
module and potentially our DMS and selected shared drives. To date I've
only just populated the retention codes, then had to put the effort on
hold. I too would like to hear about experiences and advice on setting it
up effectively. The guide provided by CA leaves a bit to be desired and
our tech support contact at CA, while very helpful and knowledgeable, is
not in a position to spend time walking me through it unless I have
specific issues to be resolved.
Like you, I too am in the CRM testing-taking process, though I've only
taken and passed part 5. Nerves and sporadic flights of confidence kept me
from taking parts 2-4 this month, but expect to get them done at the next
opportunity.
Best,
