Do anyone have any knowledge as what led to the proposed changes to included the
language "Such personnel should be aware of the organization's document retention
policies and conform any document retention policy to meet the goals of an effective compliance
program under the guidelines and to avoid any liability under the law".
I was looking for a reason or event that caused the language to be added, or is it just
from the evolvement and importance of records management?
