Thanks Peter for all the work you do on this. I too am disappointed a
vocal minority dried up the RAIN on the list serve.

How to get RAIN again
If you would like to receive RAIN here are the means by which you can
receive it
1. Follow me on Twitter
http://twitter.com/RAINbyte
2. Subscribe to the Yahoo Newsletter Group RAINbyte
you will need a Yahoo ID, but you can direct the postings to whatever
email
address you want. You can also set it so that you receive RAINbytes as
they
are posted, a daily digest or nomail. With the last option you won't
receive
any messages, but you can go to the group's message archives to see what
was
posted that day. Be aware that membership approval will be done when I
have
time usually twice a day. You will be responsible for managing your
subscription. Subscribers whose addresses soft or hard bounce messages
will
be unsubbed and you will have to resubscribe

3. Can I re-post a RAINbyte to the listserv?
Knock yourself out. You can do with them whatever you like. If you do post
to the listserv consider giving credit. If you receive the RAINbytes via
the
Yahoo group all you need do is forward the message to your listserv of
choice. But make sure the address you receive RAINbytes at is also
subscribed to the listserv
RAIN will not be posted to the listservs. thanks go out to the various
listadmins for their indulgence and patience over the years
